Kings of the Trail #002
Hello everyone and a big warm welcome to all the new subscribers who have joined the community this week!
This edition of Kings of the Trail has a couple of stories with a bit of a UK focus but they have relevance to everyone…Firstly, who doesn't need to take time and recharge once in a while? There are plenty of incredible options for recommended UK spas and health breaks below.
We also head back out on the trails with the brilliant diversity campaign and trail running group, Black Trail Runners, a great example of opening up trail running to a wider audience and helping provide easier access for all.
Please follow our social channels and share this newsletter with anyone that you think may be interested!
More to come next week, but for now, enjoy this week's edition, be safe and enjoy the trails…

Any articles that uses a favourite adage of mine; 'There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing' must be full of good advice!

Top advice for both training and racing a marathon from one of Team GB’s top distance runners.

10 highly recommended, relaxing, healthy getaways around the UK…go you deserve to!

Black Trail Runners are challenging the status quo and creating an environment that celebrates diversity and inclusivity.

Each week we will update our Kings of the Trail playlist with a new selection – just like trail runs or hikes, you can be sure that it will be a varied and eclectic journey, but hopefully there will be something for everyone.
This week the selection is not only a different genre completely to last week but is also a bit more laid-back…Baba Brinkman is rapper I found while reading about consciousness and the self, believe it or not!
This tune has brilliant vocals with a deeper meaning that have a clever and interesting message and additionally, you just can't go wrong with some great organ hooks in the chorus to fire it up a bit. Enjoy. Listen on Apple Music Listen on Spotify

Hitting the trails is hard work and recovery is an important part of any training programme, so how about sitting back and taking a few moments to enjoy these fun links?
