Kings of the Trail #014

So far this year, I have been slow to sign up for new races or challenges, but I am getting the itchy feet feeling and need to get some exciting events in the diary – if you are looking for a new or different challenge after a marathon, then there are some great ideas below.

I have previously covered the impact of our outdoor activities on the environment. This time, let's shift the focus to our gear and how we can reduce our environmental footprint. Personally, I'm trying to reduce waste by extending the life of my running shoes before buying new ones.

As always, please follow our social channels and share this newsletter with anyone that you think may be interested.

Each week I update the Kings of the Trail playlist with a new selection – just like trail runs or hikes, you can be sure that it will be a varied and eclectic journey, but hopefully, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Banging beat, slick lyrics and horns…what is there not to enjoy on this track? Macklemore may be considered a bit too pop for some hip-hop fans, but this song is too good to ignore…I love tracks like this with such braggadocio that you can’t help but absorb it and strut while running, or is that just me?! 🤷🏻‍♂️
