Kings of the Trail #024

Whether it’s any given, hour, day, week, month or year there is often a mixed bag of things happening and going on in our lives, both the expected and unexpected can happen to us at any moment. This week’s newsletter is a bit like that – a mixed bag – but it is only good things coming your way!
Despite the ever-present possibility of change, disruption or upheaval in our lives, maintaining consistency is paramount to success in anything – as the saying goes; “change doesn’t happen in a day, it happens daily…” and the runner and coach featured in the first article is undoubtedly consistent. There are also articles covering…well, I won’t go into the specifics, you can let them come to you…just like life.
Please follow our social channels and share this newsletter far and wide with anyone you think may be interested.
Until next week, be safe and enjoy the trails…

Mario Fraioli is a metronome of consistency and through his hard work with some of the best athletes who run distances of 5k to ultras to great success, you can see the benefits of always showing up…

Have you ever felt concerned about the materials used in trail running? Often, the synthetic gear we use, such as footwear, equipment, and clothing, is made of artificial plastics that can release microplastics into protected areas.

Regular readers will know, I love dogs, so don’t waste any more time reading this, click the link above and check out some very good and very happy doggos on the trails with their humans…go on, enjoy…it’s Friday, after all…

We may be just a smidge over halfway through the year, but that doesn’t mean there is insufficient time to get away on one of these incredible adventures and make the most of the year…

Each week I update the Kings of the Trail playlist with a new selection – just like trail runs or hikes, you can be sure that it will be a varied and eclectic journey, but hopefully, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
I have mentioned before that I love listening to electronic music whilst running, so this week’s pick is pure indulgence by me…this little number is the kind of track I really get into when exercising, a slow progressive build, steady beat and beautiful atmospherics to lift you and help you along the trail…
