"No big challenge has ever been solved, and no lasting improvement has ever been achieved, unless people dare to try something different.”
Tim Cook
There have been many people who have defied convention throughout history. There are also countless examples of people who, by pushing accepted wisdom, trying new (and sometimes seemingly crazy) ideas or developing an approach that is very far removed from current practices, have managed to achieve extraordinary results and change the world as we know it. Often, these acts require bravery or sacrifice; sometimes they require dramatic shifts in thinking and perception. Equally, they can come about through small tweaks and adjustments to existing practices and methods, subtle shifts that on the surface may seem insignificant but can lead to big changes, especially when applied consistently. Each week, I update the Kings of the Trail playlist with a new selection of music. Like trail runs or hikes, the playlist will be varied and eclectic, but hopefully, there will be something for everyone to enjoy…
This track was released in 2022, but I only heard it for the first time recently. My interest was piqued by the title, Runnin’, which, as you can imagine, got me intrigued! It’s a pretty banging track and a good one for when you need to pound out the miles and find some of that internal determination…get runnin’!
