Shorter intro this week as work has taken me away from the freedom and joy of running and exploring. This new, temporary environment and daily routine have reminded me how lucky we are to have the natural world around us to play in. Even when in the urban sprawl, it’s still possible to find little pockets of natural beauty; whether birds singing and flying overhead or discovering a running route through an old disused railway line or finding new interesting parks. These are the moments we may not notice or pay full attention to at the time, but it’s enough that nature is always there. Ready and waiting for us to soak it all up. Whatever you are up to, keep your eye out for the beauty of the world, or don’t. It’s enough…
